Narre Warren South (like Narre Warren North) was created in 2002. It is fairly affluent area with many young families paying off mortgages. It has substantial Muslim and Indochinese-Australian communities. Like the other south-eastern suburban seats, it has improved for Labor since its creation. Members have been Dale Wilson (Labor) 2002-06, Judith Graley (Labor) 2006-18 and Gary Maas (Labor) since 2018. Maas is retiring in 2026.
