Status: Fairly safe Labor
Mulgrave was created in 1958, abolished in 1967, and re-created in 2002. The old Mulgrave was safely Liberal, the new Mulgrave is safely Labor. It was won in 2002 by Daniel Andrews, who won three elections and was Premier of Victoria from 2014 to 2023. On his resignation the November 2023 by-election was won by Eden Foster.
