Euroa was created in 2014, when the seat of Benalla, which had existed since 1904, was renamed. Like all country seats, it has a very low proportion of people born overseas, of graduates and of high-income households. It is a safe Nationals seat, although Labor won a 2000 by-election in Benalla. Members have been Stephanie Ryan 2014-22 and Annabella Cleeland since 2022.
