Comment:
At the 2022 election, Labor won 2.46 quotas, while the Liberals won 2.21 quotas. This gave Labor three seats for the first time at a WA half-Senate election, while the Liberals lost their third seat. The Greens polled 0.96 quotas, which easily elected Dorinda Cox. Labor's strong result in WA in 2022 was largely due to state factors and is unlikely to be repeated, so the Liberals will probably retain their three seats, with Labor winning two and Greens Senator Jordon Steele-John winning the sixth seat. The third candidate on the Liberal ticket is Trisha Botha, a
former evalgelical pastor.
