Elections to the Voule ton Ellenikon (Parliament of the Greeks)

Greek electoral law requires that the party winning a plurity of votes be 
awarded a majority of seats in the Voule. This involves some distortion 
of the proportionality of the result, as shown in the following table. 
Parties must poll 3% of the national vote to gain representation. Votes 
and seats are compared with those gained in the 2007 elections.
