The Liberals gained Bunbury and Murray from the ALP, Roe from the Nationals and South Perth from an independent, but lost Kingsley to Labor and Greenough to the Nationals, making a net gain of two. The Nationals lost Roe and gained Greenough. Independents were elected in Alfred Cove and Churchlands.
