VICTORIA ==================================================================== LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY ==================================================================== THE FIFTY-NINTH PARLIAMENT ELECTED 24 NOVEMBER 2018 ==================================================================== Showing ministerial and parliamentary offices held in the period beginning 29 November 2018 Voting figures are taken from the Victorian Electoral Commission website. Daniel Andrews's Labor government was re-elected with an increased majority at this election, defeating the Liberal-National coalition led by Matthew Guy. Labor won nine seats from the Liberals (Bass, Bayswater, Box Hill, Burwood, Glen Waverley, Hawthorn, Nepean, Ringwood and South Barwon). Labor lost Brunswick to the Greens, but regained Northcote, which it had lost at a by-election in May. The Nationals lost Mildura and Morwell to independents. After the election Guy resigned as Liberal leader and was succeeded by Michael O'Brien. In September 2021 Guy reclaimed the Liberal leadership.
