Career: Educated public schools. Wheat farmer, wheat-breeder. Senate: Senator for South Australia 1931-37. -------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Badman had failed to gain Liberal and Country League re- endorsement for the Senate, so he contested and won the LCL membership ballot for this seat. He chose to sit with the Country Party in the House of Representatives. 2.
