2. Butcher was WA MLA for Gascoyne 1901-11, Roebourne 1915-17.
3. North was WA MLA for Claremont 1924-56.
4. Throssell was WA MLA for Northam 1890-1904, WA MLC for East 
1907-10. He was Premier of Western Australia 1901.
5. Buzacott, de Largie, Henderson, Lynch and Pearce resigned from 
the ALP Caucus on 14 November 1916 and joined the Nationalist 
Party in 1917.

Senators' terms began 5 September 1914. Lynch, Needham and Pearce 
elected for a term ending 30 June 1920. Buzacott, de Largie and 
Henderson elected for a term ended 30 June 1919.
